  • 2 cups 2% milk
  • 1 (10.5-ounce) can condensed cream of mushroom soup
  • 2 cloves garlic, diced
  • 1 (5-ounce) can tuna, drained
  • 1 cup shredded mild Cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup chopped fresh mushrooms
  • 8 ounces uncooked macaroni pasta
  • Salt and ground black pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Spray the inside of the slow cooker with nonstick cooking spray.
  2. In the slow cooker, mix the milk, condensed cream of mushroom soup, and diced garlic until smooth.
  3. Stir in the drained tuna, shredded Cheddar cheese, and chopped mushrooms.
  4. Add the uncooked macaroni pasta and season with salt and pepper. Stir to combine.
  5. Cover and cook on Low for 5-6 hours, or on High for 3-4 hours, until the pasta is tender.
  6. Optional: Stir the casserole 30 minutes before the end of cooking to ensure even texture.
  7. Serve hot and enjoy!

Notes

  • To make the casserole more kid-friendly, blend the mushrooms into the creamy base or leave them out.
