🩷 2 bay leaves
🩷 1 teaspoon thyme
🩷 Optional: 1 cup sliced carrots, 1 cup chopped celery, 1 teaspoon hot sauce


Instructions

🔵 Step 1: Generously season the seven-bone steak with Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper.
🔵 Step 2: Heat oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the steak for 2-3 minutes on each side until browned. Remove and set aside.
🔵 Step 3: In the same skillet, sauté onions, bell peppers, and garlic, scraping up browned bits.
🔵 Step 4: Sprinkle flour over vegetables, stir, and gradually add beef broth, stirring until smooth. Add diced tomatoes, bay leaves, and thyme.
🔵 Step 5: Place the steak back in the skillet, cover, and simmer on low for 2-3 hours (or transfer to a slow cooker for 6-8 hours on low). Add optional vegetables if desired.
